MARYVILLE, Mo. - A temporary replacement for Nodaway County Prosecutor Robert Rice has been found. David Baird, a member of the Missouri Bar, will take over as prosecutor before midnight on July 3.
Baird will serve as the special prosecutor until a successor is appointed by Missouri Gov. Mike Parson. Rice is vacating his position after he had been appointed as associate judge on the 4th Judicial Circuit in Missouri.
